The school

Shri L.G. Haria Multipurpose School was founded 20 years ago in a small building by Shri Lakhamshi Govindji Haria at Vapi.

This small seed laid down 20 years back has flourished into a big tree today with its branches and foliage. It is housed in a very spacious building. The school has been elevated from high school to higher secondary status in 1997-1998, which is equivalent to junior college in our neighboring state of Maharashtra. We are having commerce and science streams in Higher Secondary Sections.

The school made a modest start with Jr. and Sr. K.G. Classes in English Medium in the year 1987 with 4 staff members. In the early stages the school carried out its activities in four rooms in building-A in Haria Park. The school obtained recognition from the Government of Gujarat and added higher standards year after year. At present we are having classes up to Std. XII Sc. and XII Com. We are also having total 74 employees out of which 50 are teaching staff and the rest non-teaching.

The Medium of instruction in the school is English. The school follows Gujarat State Education Board Syllabus. The school provides co-education.

The school has pre-primary, primary, secondary and higher secondary sections with the total school strength being around 1600 students. The school campus has big playground covered with lush green lawns surrounded by shady trees
